About Me

Hi! I'm Sam Frederich, an award-winning animator, director, and editor with a penchant for ridiculously over-ambitious animated projects and terrible "about me" sections.

I received my degree in Cinema and Media Studies in 2016, and since then I've been working as a freelance editor and animator in LA. In the last few months, I've worked on social media videos for BEATS, as well as cutting promos for such clients as The Wasserman Foundation and Bang Zoom! Entertainment.

My most recent animated projects include the web series pilot "Song in the Sky"; the sci-fi comedies "Film Quest" and "Hellevator," which recently won best animated short at the Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival; and the fantastical coming-of-age story "Flotsam."
